A Novel Strategy to Enable Effective Use of Dioxolane‐Based Electrolytes in Lithium‐Ion Batteries

In this work we reported about the use of an electrolyte for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) based on mixtures 1,3-dioxolane (DOL) and 1,2,2-tetraethoxyethane (TEG). We showed that 1 M LIFSI in TEG : DOL (2 3) displays good transport properties high thermal stability. Graphite lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) electrodes used combination with display capacity, efficiency, high-capacity retention at higher C-rates stability during prolonged charge-discharge cycles carried a broad range temperatures (from −20 °C till 60 °C). Furthermore, SEI analysis was performed using XPS, FTIR spectroscopy SEM to understand morphology generated by analyse them comparatively state-of-the-art. additionally show can be successfully utilized lab-scale LIBs, these devices capacity over 100 various current densities. Results obtained study indicate TEG-DOL is effective, unexpensive easy implement strategy utilization LIBs.
